Our History
Pack 60 was chartered by the Spreckels Volunteer Fire Company in 1934, making it one of the oldest continuously chartered Packs in the nation. We take pride in our rich history and commitment to youth development through fun and engaging activities.

All scouts need to register with the national organization. This money does not stay with the local district or Pack 60. This is an annual cost that is valid for all scouting programs in the United States.

Pack 60 requires an annual due for the 2025-2026 scouting year of $170. This money stays with the pack and covers things like:
Awards, a scout t-shirt, program materials for pack meetings, pinewood derby, raingutter regatta, campsite registration and miscellaneous Pack expenses.

Scouting families are responsible for maintaining a scouting uniform and a rank specific scout book.
This cost can range from $150-$250 new but many options exist for a lightly used uniform.
Additional costs per attendee for camping events for shared food costs.
